nine miles to the west. Hawaii's capital, Honolulu, is on
the island of Oahu, on the other side of Molokai. The Big
Island (Hawaii) is south of Maui.
Oahu is a 30-minute flight from Maui airports. Boat tours
to Lanai and Molokini, the tiny island remnant popular for
snorkeling and scuba, depart from nearby Lahaina.
